Opinions needed.

I'm just wondering with my upgrade coming up if this new LG Optimus Elite will be worth picking up or even the ZTE Fury. Perhaps I should just save some money and take a stab at something better. I would like something top of the line but I can live without that. I have not had any issues with my Optimus S and have enjoyed every moment with it thanks to all the awesome devs and great support. I Went from a HTC Hero to the Optimus so it was a big upgrade compared to it in my opinion. Nothing bad about it but I could tell the difference very easily.

I'm just looking for feedback, comments, or ideas anybody wants to throw out there.

I would the stats are superior to the optimus s 800 mhz
4gb internal storage
512 ram
And lots more I'm gonna buy one

I really like my optimus S... but... I got it before the 10 smartphone upcharge went into effect and I got it for free so it saved me $600+ on a two year contract over buying the Evo. The active development community has been a godsend especially due to the limited storage on this phone.

For my upcoming upgrade I'm looking to move to the Evo LTE... all smartphones now have the $10 upcharge anyway and while the Evo LTE may cost more upfront the additional cost is worth it to me for the extra screen real estate, speed, LTE data and (most importantly) the additional app storage space. I'm also guessing the Evo LTE will have a very active development community.

If I were buying a phone for a teen that's hard on devices I would look at something like the optimus elite since it would be cheaper to replace/fix than something like the Evo LTE.

For me it will be the EVO or NEXUS, but hten again who knows what will be out in September

Gnex is more of a 2011 phone. Lte has beats + vastly better camera + bigger battery + bigger screen (cause part of Gnex screen is buttons)+ kickstand +sd slot. If you can live with sense 4 (or aosp) than the evo takes the cake.
