Beautiful ROM everything works (no FC's or anything). Well done indeed.

However I have noticed that the keyboard typing sound is practically non existent.

I have all the sound setting turned all the way up, stock 2.3.3 is MUCH louder, am I missing something / any way to fix this?

that is strange! You have media volume up I am assuming. I will look into it. I am on the most recent build and can hear it. But I never used the sound on the keyboard before so I don't have a comparison

Edit: Here is something to try. I believe this may have been effected by the 2.1 edits to the framework.jar. Wipe cache/dalvik cache, turn off signature verification, and flash this from recovery.

NOTE: This will break swipe2clear mod, so please wait for proper fix.

from xionia recovery I wiped: data/factory reset, wiped dalvic cache/cache and re installed theme.

Then booted into theme, then back to xionia and wiped: data/factory reset, wiped dalvic and installed hydro kernel and rebooterd back to android.

Then back to xionia and wiped: data/factory reset, wiped dalvic and installed the undo audio scroll mod as well as the battery percentage mod.

Booted back to android and keyboard sound fixed (YAY). . Thank you for your help/quick response I'm really liking this theme/ROM.

I will try again on at least adding the scroll improvement back into a future build. Honestly, I only did the media mod as I thought it was cool and I could, though didn't offer any true benifit for me.

As a further note, this goes out to the community as a whole. This is a project that I have put alot of thought, research and effort into. I would like to do more, but i am not getting alot of feedback. In part that is a good thing, as most people only mention when there are problems. But it also leaves no reason for me to keep getting my hands dirty on this rom. I have more or less accomplished all my major goals and produced the very rom I want to be using (even though I have moved on to another phone as my daily use, and the Optimus is only a dev device now). So everyone keep the feedback and bug reports coming in.

I've downloaded / installed a few apps, when I try to slide / swipe the notification off the dropdown menu it force closes. is this a known bug/problem?

Crap! forgot that there was a mod to framework.jar for the swipe2clear mod. I will work on a new build of it for you. As of right now though a quick fix is to either deal without the swipe2clear or muted keypress sounds. If you want to recovery the swipe2clear, just wipe cache/dalvik cache(no need for data wipe) and reflash dante.rom.v2.2.1

The fix is a little more intensive then just posting a former jar file. I have to completely rebuild that framework.jar file to remove the audio media mod but include the swipe2clear one

I then opened browser to set my homepage/settings and it force closed but then seemed fine after that.

I'm not trying to nit pick just offer (hopefully) the "type" of feedback you're looking for.

P.S. I'm NOT running amphetamines at the moment just your ROM and Hydro kernel.

amphetamines is built in several builds ago!

Edit: Have tried to fix the swipe2clear within the current build and fix the keypress issue. I have run into a block. I have a lot of work coming up and will be away from my pc to do bug tracking. I will work on this as I can, but it wont be quick.

Ask and you shall receive! There have been a few requests for the HTC_IME keyboard that has been in use on our device way back since Reborn. I have found it, themed it, and got it working on our phones (not too hard just had to find the right version ). For some reason though it does NOT work if included within the rom or flash in seperately. This has given me a few headaches. The fix for now is to simply give you the apks needed and let you install them. Simply open the zip, place the apk on your sdcard, from the app drawer use root browser to locate the apks and install them. Please note this is NOT a flashable zip due to force closes when ever I would flash them into the rom. You MUST install manually.

This is one of the most stable ROMS I have ever used. I am also very pleased with the use of Zeam launcher as the stock launcher. I haven't really had any problems that I would report as a "bug", but I always like to see developement and advancement. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into making this ROM!!!

I was glad to see a ZVJ ROM available that forced me to upgrade from ZVD. (I haven't hung around here in a while, so if there are other ROMs, I'm sorry for not seeing them)

First, a question: is there any reason to keep Sprint Installer and SprintExtension in the ROM? I'm thinking about removing them, just haven't done so yet as I have some maintenance to do anyway on the phone (accidentally deleted the Music app with Titanium, so I gotta pull the .apk from the ROM zip and push it to the phone).

I just read about the effort getting the power control into the notification bar. I was wondering how hard would it be to get the volume control to toggle between sound, vibrate, off instead of the sound to vibrate that it currently uses. Maybe you don't know the answer to this, but I'm assuming drewwalton19216801 or jstntp know and can provide an answer.

I would like to note an issue with my camera while running danterom, i initiated the camera app and noted some black lines across my screen while camera running, i took a photo and saw no black lines across the picture taken. I flashed gingerom afterward and no black lines.

Thanks for the ROM, just installed it over the weekend. Very nicely polished ans so far very stable. How hard would it be to remove Swype from the ROM? The version from the stock Sprint ROM is old and the newer versions of Swype beta can be downloaded from but will not install over an OEM package.

The older version works fine for me, and I like that it's included with the rom.
