Re: Bluestacks Android App player for Windows
This is a great application for Windows users, however there are some things wrong with using it. You can't root it easily (They use a compacted SquashFS image inside a normal disk image which is completely un-needed tbh since it makes /system read-only), they don't send patches back to the Android project they base off of (Android-x86), and if you have a Netbook with 1GB of RAM I don't suggest using it at all, it will lag you to holy hell when you try to boot it up, even with the memory allocation changed.
However, if you look past all that, it's a really great application. Hope they start being GPL friendly though so Android-x86 gets fixes from them.
