From what I remember, it needed a rewrite to handle ARM6 architecture. So the odds are that no, it's not supposed to work on our devices.

Like I said, it's not really chrome. If you're packaging apk's, it's not unreasonable to edit the about page like the one you posted. Even that menu is exactly the same as miren. Nigel posted a screenshot of the actual chrome beta. The note about an XDA user gives it away - Google would never give credit to anyone besides themselves.

It's a modified version of the Miren Web Browser. thenameisnigel's screenshots are the real Chrome for Android Beta. Chrome for Android currently requires an ARMv7 processor, they haven't released enough of the source code to build anything but the unit tests yet, but one the full source is released, I'm sure there will be an ARMv6 build target.
