Re: [ROM][WIP][PORT]Paranoidandroid from optimus one to optimus s
Hey, just a suggestion, it'd be extra nice if the date the ROM was last updated was in the title of the thread, so people knew when you came out with a new release. Just a personal preference of mine to make the thread cleaner

Re: [ROM][WIP][PORT]Paranoidandroid from optimus one to optimus s
After fixing the symlinks, paranoid settings works fine. :3 Or is that already fixed? 0-0
Might wanna add some changelogs to the OP.
Also, this isn't a stock based ROM, so I would recommend removing any APKs related to GApps and place a link to the Goo.im gapps package (Yes, there are APKs related to GApps, even ones that Gapps itself installs in /system/app)
Using Alpha 2 btw.
Home button (Soft/Hard) still does not work. along with Search, Camera and Voice Dial.
EDIT: Also anyone know a good DPI to run Aldiko with? I tried all the settings and the book text still comes out horrible.Last edited by ShadowEO; 07-05-2012 at 09:48 PM.

I saw an APK for ICS flash on here but most of those are really 10.2 or 10.3 (Which does not work properly, if at all, on ICS)
Whether flash does or doesn't work though is not a problem for the ROM developer though, It's a problem for Adobe.

Does data work on this rom? Because if not, I know exactly why.

Flash is only important to the end user because people make it so, however, Video player apps on Android do not rely on flash and most sites are switching to HTML5 for cross platform mobile video supporting both Android and iOS.
Also, I don't think data works, but then again I can't test it because of how I use the handset like a minitablet with no service.

Ill have to disagree with you though because 90% of streaming content is still based on flash when I heard adobe was discontinuing flash I was like WTF!!!
I like html5 better but all my favorites are still flash so I guess I'm biased

I don't think data is working either

First time I tried it and I have to agree. I'll upload a LS670 build prop soon.
EDIT: Here's a LS670 build prop that uses parts of Kraven's CM9 build prop. Just take off the .txt extension and push it to /system/
You'll want to clear the cache/data of the Play Store and restart though.

Yes. Use CAI build.prop and data should work fine.

I just modified the ROMs build.prop with some values from kraven's :-). Works great now
EDIT: OP, Rom works great. The reason there's no 3G or Mobile Network (or calling with the SIP stack) are because you used a GSM-based ROM on a CDMA-based Base Rom. Port from a CDMA based ParanoidAndroid and everything should be working perfectly, it would even stop the force-closes we're getting. (If your no longer updating this ROM, can I ask how you ported it?)
