hi guys i just got a new battery today but when i let try to charge it wont charge at all and im running my paranoidandroid rom i made will any body help me please

I know you did an update to your rom today, right? Did your old battery charge ok on it?

no my old battery was water damaged

Ok, next question, have you tried different chargers and/or outlets? If so, and it still isn't working, you may need to try flashing a different rom and see if that works. I've read your thread and seem to remember kernel issues, which can affect charging.

ok im trying a wall charger to see if it works if not i will try a kernel if that dont work then i will flash a new rom

Are you using a standard battery or a extended battery? If its a extended they take usually up to 3-4 hours tops even more since the size capacity is much larger but holds more amount of time than a standard size.

If the new battery and old battery won't charge in the phone, I'd guess that something related to the charging circuit got damaged also.

How about a different rom?

Leave it in recovery for awhile.

yea thats why but i do have an optimus s around my place somewhere but cant find it :/
