Try hydro.
I had to get rid of my 3d, so I picked up the Optimus for 15 dollars off Craigs.
I ran quantum ics, very nice but got laggy and seemed buggy.
Switched to hydro and wow, it's fast and just clean.
Check it out.

Most of the time when developers are looking for rom testers they'll start a thread about it, so I think your best bet is to just keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime there are a lot of roms already to choose from for this phone, so if you're looking for a new experience, look no further.

I had posted in danteRom asking for testers. You can head over there and run the latest build with the test for the privacy reset test. That would he awesome.

Look at the last few pages of danteRom. I have a test to flash into the current danteRom that will mod the settings menu to remove privacy>factory reset as a menu choice due to the risk of bricking your phone using it on a custom recovery. But settings.apk is a tricky mod and often breaks things when messed with.
