    Default Bye optimus s

Well I got a nexus s 4g. I'm putting my s on the shelf as soon as I fix the power button on my nexus
I will be wrapping up all my Roms now. I love my nexus and I will forever lurk here.

Actually had my nexus for 2 months but power button broke
So it was hard to root
But I finally did and my s is still with me but I'm just installing cm7 and call it done
    I love it
I'm hooking up my nexus to service sometime this week

Do you think it's still worth getting a Nexus S with the Nexus 4 for $299?

Well I've been considering buying a used T-Mobile Nexus S for ~$100 and using it on monthly4G for $30 a month, then getting a Nexus 7 for $199, and I'd be spending ~$299, and getting 2 Nexus devices for the price of a Nexus 4.
And, with the Nexus S on Jellybean, and decent ROM support, I don't see why not.

I should have looked harder, the prices are closer to ~$175 than ~$99.... ._.
But I've just been looking on eBay and Amazon.

The Sprint Nexus S should be compatible with Virgin. Find one that has an esn posted on Ebay and call Virgin to confirm the ESN is compatible. It's a CDMA device, though. So it SHOULD work.

Virgin doesn't allow out of network phones. That's not to say it can't be done but it'd be a major pita and you still could end up with a gimped phone that all features (mms) doesn't work.

Edit: oh and jonny... You know you'll end up hanging out over here anyway, just like hlxanthus

Yeah, I love my ns4g but the community there is minimal, and the Optimus forums have been good to me.
