Dear wizards of the android:

I just got one of these refurbished. I am running android 2.22 on build # ZVD.41B2924E and baseband version LS670MVD_60401001 and sw version LS6702ZVD. I have rooted and backed up as per the instructions on this site. However, from what I am reading I cannot use a custom firmware because my refurbished phone does not have the VD baseband. I have tried to follow the instructions farther, but have managed to get rather lost. Before I proceeded further, I felt it prudent to ask for advice, and to ascertain what this baseband is, and why I seem to need to update it to get a custom firmware.

MVD is ZVD. I'm 90% sure but I may be wrong

Ah, I see, I must have misread then - I am on ZVD, but was under the impression that LS670MVD_60401001 needed to end in 'vd'. Pardon me.

What you're looking at is the "LS670MVD" part.
