[ROM]CM10.1/PAC-rom jb 4.2.2 The JBC alpha build
What's the JBC, you don't want to know. Haha
Giving you something to play with. Fresh compile from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] sources. The JBC alpha builds are pretty much CyanogenMod 10.1 with very little tweaks. Really the system is too big, and I had the trim down the rom. Removed cmwallpapers, ringtones, boot animation, removed all languages except english.
The other JB 4.2.2 rom is the PAC-rom. It is a mix of CM10.1, AOKP, and Paranoid Android roms.
Working so far: wifi, usb mass storage, audio, video in browser, Google play, Youtube hq Include test 38 ics kernel. You can try other CAI kernels .
Hint: to get dev settings, tap Build number 7 times
BUGS: Wifi seems to eat the battery the most. Hdr camera mode will fc due to lack of memory, so just use regular picture taking.. Reboots and battery drain is expected. Livewallpaper isn't working. Bluetooth and tethering not working

Check how full the system partition is.
To narrow it down. Flash my cai test 23 kernel. If wifi works it's the kernel. If not try my boot.img and modules. If it works, then it's the ramdisk inits.

Re: [ROM] CM10.1 jb 10.2 The JBC alpha build
I moved on to the DNA last month, but this thread is another example of why I loved my Opti S for as long as I had it. Great work Kraven!

Yeah, but MMS probably wouldn't work, and some hard keys would be backwards.

Lol mms is a little moot at this point in the game since sms and calling aren't even working yet. Home and Menu keys will be swapped.

Re: [ROM] CM10.1 jb 10.2 The JBC alpha build
It might JB 4.2.1, and no old CDMA ril support. The frameworks Phonefactory.java is missing a bunch of cdma stuff.

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM10.1 jb 4.2.1 The JBC alpha build
What are the steps to fixing for optimus v? I'd rather do it myself than to keep bothering for one in the future haha
-
Re: [ROM][WIP] CM10.1 jb 4.2.1 The JBC alpha build
It works on the optimus v just have to change keys around, build.prop and carrier label.
-
Re: [ROM][WIP] CM10.1 jb 4.2.1 The JBC alpha build
Yeah I know it functions i was asking the steps on changing the keys build.prop etc. I'm pretty certain I can figure out how to fix the build.prop but how do i switch the hardware keys?
