Need Dalvik2dev for zvd or do I?

Having the dreaded page file invalid errors. Apparently the dalvik2dev patch by jstntp works but I'm on kraven's cm7.2, zvd. Can't find a patch for zvd. How stupid would it be to try the zvj zip?

It should work perfectly fine, but you might have to peak at any other init.d scripts running. I cant remember if that rom has any other dalvik mods going on. I was thinking he had a dalvik2sd inplace. If that is the case, you are going to need to delete that first (with a file manager), then boot to recovery, wipe cache/dalvik cache and flash jstntp's dalvik2dev mod.

And dont forget to create a nandroid backup prior to all of this!!

If cm7.2 does have dalvik2sd, then if I cleared out my sd card a bit it should fix the problem? I know the dalvik is getting over used but I don't know if it's because its got too many records to handle or just a few that are too big, if my laymen terminology makes any sense. If it's too many...then more space won't help right? Or does moving it allocate for space for the dalvik?...our am I way off.thanks for reading.
