I've been running ZVJ/Ginverbread-based DanteROM for a while and it works perfectly as a daily driver. When the CAI ICS ROMs came out, I spent a lot of time following the threads for a while but it always seemed to have some show-stopper problem (clock sync, battery drain, etc.) that would have kept me from using it as a daily driver. Same situation for the ICS & JB ROMs. Eventually I just gave up on tracking the progress and now I'd have to read hundreds of pages to catch up. Would somebody mind giving me a summary?
Is there a post-Gingerbread ROM that people would recommend as a daily driver? Any critical bugs?
Do all of the ICS/JB ROMs basically need to utilize a DATA2EXT type solution because the ROM is too big to run on our old Optis? Or could I use a Link2SD type memory expansion solution?
