[PS3 Hack] Xionia Kernel PSFreedom Edition

If you do not know what PSFreedom is, ignore this thread!!!

This is a modified kernel for use with PSFreedom.
PSFreedom requires USB_GADGET whereas LG requires USB_FUNCTION, thus this is NOT an everyday kernel. ADB does not work, who knows what else.

This only works on PS System Software v3.41!

Usage:
1) Learn about PSFreedom and why you'd want to do this.
2) With my normal kernel make sure your phone is rooted and a terminal is installed (Like ConnectBot)
3) Flash this kernel
4) Connect to target PS3 and turn off all power to PS3 (remove plug, ect)
5) Power up PS3, quickly hit eject after powering up
6) Enjoy

When you are ready to go back to standard Optimus operations, simply flash my Xionia series kernel.

yeah not happening anytime soon, needs usb_gadget, lg uses usb_function. i cant get it to work. annoyed.

btw this is possible. the hardware is there. the effort is just not worth it when you can currently buy psjailbreak clones for like $7.

The firmware on the PS3 has to be 3.41, which I doubt it is. The idea is nice, but there isn't very much for any current updates, for any homebrew that I know of anyway.
