hello, i dont know if i can just upgrade my phone with the system update inside the phone because I have V9 already rooted with z4root and i want to upgrade to VD. Is it safe just to update via phones update service?

Please read the LS670ZVD rooting guide (in the stickies). It gives precise directions for updating to LS670ZVD while being able to keep root access.

Please please please DO NOT accept the update that your phone is telling you to install. It WILL block your ability to gain root access easily and will make the process 10 million times more difficult for you.

Upgrade using LGMobileSupport tool, and flash your custom ROM. Simple as that as long as you dont update OTA!
