I've had a issue with playing Hex Defense since the Nameless days. It doesn't happen always but it will crash and reboot my cell. Anything I can do to fix that or do I just deal with it?

I've been playing hex defense fine on Lego, thunderom, nameless, and now reborn.

Never had any problems, so don't know what the issue might be. Did you do a clean install, or just install over?

Did a clean install. I did it several times thinking it might have been some kind of error on my part but the same thing always happens.

Try turning your CPU max back down to stock 600 to see. Maybe your phone does not like to be overlclocked up to 748, which is what reborn sets it at automatically.

How would I go around setting the max back down to stock? Don't really want to but would like to see if it fixes the problem or not.

Just use nofrills CPU from the market. It's free and real easy to use.

I would set it at 600 and if that works with no reboots, turn it up to the next level and so on until it reboots, then you will know your max. Hope this helps

Yeah each device is different mine can be overclocked to 806mhz any higher and it bootloops....Ive heard people say theres can even be higher some people cant be overclocked at all...Its the device not the rom.....However the higher you go the more battery it eats up and the hotter your phone will be....

1. Change the boot animation, I have my own custom bootanimation.zip that I tried to put in /system/media but it didn't allow me to copy it over.

2. Change the network name (or should I call it "banner") to my own custom one.

Answer to question 1. Put the zip to the root of your sd card then flash it...no need to clear anything.

Question 2. Make your own theme You can customize it to your liking.....Google UOT kitchen its a theme maker.....

I flashed SHELL ROM, then REBORN, then without booting into the ROM I did a Wipe All/Factory Reset and now it had the "ANDROID" words, booted into android, adb shell'ed in and copied my bootanimation.zip in /system/media (this time it took it).... I'm thinking maybe all I have to do is a Wipe All/Factory Reset and it gets rid of it..? It also got rid of Wireless Tether...but I backed it up with TitaniumBackup first...

First post, but I've been lurking for a while. I need some serious help with my Optimus S. It's been rooted and rom'd for close to 6 months now. I'm currently running Reborn with the latest update (2.1) and I'm having some serious issues. I have the VD baseband (ls670mvd_60401001), but every time I turn my phone on it tries to connect to the "hands free network", and then it fails and drops my service from 3G to 1X and will not let me use any kind of data based program (browser, text messages, games that require an internet connection). I'll have to restart the phone 5 or 6 times until it doesn't try to connect to the network. I need help because this is getting frustrating!

Well, sounds like the baseband is not VD; problem is if you are checking the baseband after the rom has been flashed all it's doing is reading part of the rom (I believe it's defined in the buildprop) at any rate that means looking in your phone after flashing reborn won't tell you for certain what baseband you are on.

What rom were you running previously (I have a suspicion it will be VC based)

I was scared at first with adb, rooting and recoveries but the help is great and the directions are top notch.
