How to ZIP .apk files to load directly into system
I have spent the better part of an hour trying to find a topic on this, so maybe I'm a took and missed it or it is so buried it is pathetic. Any how, I was wonding how I would go about ZIPing up my most used apps into a package so it would be included in system apps (and not eat that every important file space). Any help would be appreciated. Also if it gets to complicated (was barely able to root and flash a rom), just let me know to give up on the idea !!

You'll have to learn either Edify or Amend (can't remember what it is that most recoveries support nowadays) and then create an updater-script that will extract the APKs into /system/app and set permissions.
It's quite simple once you get the hang of it. I know my answer is a little vague, but just Google "how to create an Android update.zip"
