I am tring to learn about the android OS and how it works and I got the LS670ZVD_12.SD_12.P60675.cab file but cant extract it I also tried renameing it to *.KDZ and using KDZ_FW_UPD_EN and LG-Utils-0.4.2 to extract the cab file insideit and it wont work. am i correct in assuming there is a cab file in this file and if not how do i extract the files from this file.

Thank You

If someone has extracted the vd ver of the optimus s firmware that would be helpful I really interested in seeing underneith the hood of the android is and since I have an optimus s that's a great spot to start. Kinda a project for me reverse engineering it to understand it. All I want to do is extract the CD cab file without altering my phone

A simple Google search gives this (which a lot of people use): [KITCHEN][JUNE 21 '11] HTC Android Kitchen, v0.168 [Linux / Mac / Windows] - xda-developers

There really isn't a device-specific ROM kitchen/guide. All (most) Android ROMs are built the same way across the board.

You'll notice that the ROM Kitchen I linked to above says it's for HTC devices but really it works for more than HTC.
