they also say that for the epic and it doesn't...real gingerbread (as opposed to a port) would be nice on our phones, but i'm holding my breath! lol

yeah, I just wrote about the optimistic because I don't see that anyone has mentioned it. I can s at this for sure. got mine yesterday and it didn't ship with 2.3. lol

Awhile back I posted that same info in another forum. Got so many folks fired up many called Sprint CS and Stores etc. A few days later Sprint Changed the info to 2.2. If only they would get that fire in the belly about releasing a D*** 2.3 update.
