Looking for a good, stable, yet fun Launcher
I've used Launcher Pro, Go Launcher Ex, and ADW Launcher. Out of the three, I enjoyed Go Launcher the most, while Launcher Pro as my second choice (despite it suddenly crashing at times).
I was wondering, are there any other launchers out there that would be good for the Optimus S? - 09-17-2011, 11:15 PM #2

Give Zeam a shot. A couple less features than Go but runs nice.

Another vote for Zeam.
I paid for LauncherPro Plus, but Go Launcher has passed them by for me (a ground-up rewrite has been promised for over a year now, and was supposed to arrive by January, while Go Launcher just gets better and better and continues to add features.) But, while I prefer Go for features and customizability, Zeam is unbelievably lightweight, snappy, and stable as anything. I usually have both installed on my own phone, but I've got Zeam on my dad's LG Optimus S. It just works, and it works well. And it's still being actively developed. I'd absolutely try it out if you're looking for alternatives. - 09-19-2011, 12:50 PM #5

Another vote for Zeam.
I run Zeam 2.9.6 on my tablet. I reverted to 2.9.6 after the upgrade to 3.0.0 eliminated the action shortcuts. I don't know if those have yet been restored in the current version, but I'm very happy with 2.9.6.Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch - Elocity A7 - 09-20-2011, 07:09 PM #6

Re: Looking for a good, stable, yet fun Launcher
I've been using Zeam for the past couple of days (thanks to the suggestions). It's great, fast, stable, no lag or closing, and just perfect. Just about the only thing that's good on my phone ever since I updated to Gingerbread. Ugh! DO NOT UPDATE!
Anyway, thanks for the suggestions again! I recommend it.
