I've been reading about the Android app AT&T Smart WiFi - it sounds like an intriguing program.
Basically, it will remember login information for different wifi spots and automatically take care of that step for you. For example, Qwest (which is not CentryLink) has an agreement with AT&T to use their wireless hotspots. The problem is that you have to connect to the wifi spot, open a web browser, and log in using your home internet information.
AT&T Smart WiFi automates this step. It can bet set up to automate similar steps for other wifi spots - (local schools has a similar login process for their public wifi systems)
The problem is that I can't download the program from the market since I don't have an AT&T phone.
Any way around that? Is there another program that would perform the same function?
