Just wanted to say thanks to every one here who made this reletively low end phone into a pretty awesome piece of equipment. The community here is truly great when it comes to support and development. I've had this phone for a year and have put every rom and kernal out there on it up to but not including the gingerbread mess (was too happy with CM7), even though some of the stuff for that baseline coming out now looks pretty cool. The difference the devs in here have made to the phone is simply stunning. I picked up a nexus the other day and am moving on but i'm holding on to my optimus and will probably continue to play with the roms that are out there. Thanks again to everyone who makes this phone so much better than it should be.

I too want to say "Thanks" to the awesome developers that we have here. I absolutely LOVE my phone. I have had a great experience with the Optimus S and a Custom ROM.

Unfortunately my wife has had nothing but trouble with her Samsung Transform. I've finally convinced her to let me put a Custom ROM on it because it can't be any worse than stock.

I'll jump into the mix thanking Drew and all involved. Although I know very little about all the perks of this phone and rom, I will tell you as a road warrior, my right hand is my computer on my console. for the mere fact that I can tether my computer for important emails and such, this is huge to me and I am forever in debt. I love technology, even though I know just enough to be dangerous to myself.

Its amazing what we have here thanks to all of the ppl who take the time to answer questions and made our forum huge and extremely active. I have to say if it wasn't for all of the time and work the devs had put into this phone I would've traded it in shortly after I got it. When I see other phones forums here that hardly have any topics let alone their own rooting and roms section I feel so grateful for you guys and thankful I didn't end up getting a different free sprint phone!

You know its true all the effort that went into pimping r droids and all the new stuff comeing thank you all for your hard work and for giveing me a hobby I truly enjoy (and for all you know I'm a bed ridden cripple that hates everyone and everything and this is the one thing that keeps me from killing myself -PLAYING WITH MY DROID .......I'm not but it could happen and yes the work you do could mean that much to someone it means alot to me so just think about that other Guy
