My LG Optimus

I have an android phone and it does not respond to my house wifi. It does show it's connected, but I'm not able to get into Youtube or browse the net. There is an error saying network failed. I have Comcast in Florida. What should be the overall settings? I thought I would automatically connect. Thank you very much!!!

Is the wifi router setup to block mac addreses? Is it even giving the phone a ip addresss?
