flashed to cricket with txt/talk. need data/mms

Yesterday I went to a cricket retailer to get my lg optimus s flashed to cricket, the person who flashed it flashed talk and txt to cricket, but didn't know how to flash data/mms
He said he has the same phone and told me he was working on it and was trying to get mms/, data, all apps, and mobile hotspot to work.

I want to have data and mms, all appps and hot spot to work. What do I have to do or know to be able to get my phone flashed the rest of the way?

You won't find much info here on flashing. Head to someplace like howardforums and maybe xdadevelopers.

He probably uploaded a cricket PRL and then updated the NAM. They sell a full solution but i dunno how much it costs. Maybe try editing the data profiles in QPST or LG Download.

Alright well would lg download mess up my phone if I just edit the data profiles? Do I have to be rooted?

i used to know the cricket parameters when I still lived in Arkansas.

I do know that all data needs to go through an http proxy, you dont have raw internet access like you do at home or on sprint.

Have you asked at Howard forums? Those guys are the experts on Cricket flashing IIRC.

If you can get to the programming menu, this guide should get data working, worked on my Incredible:
I highly recommend the $55 plan, as it has unproxied data. You might need them to change your device to CPE Android.

Or, you could get an Optimus V.
