Music Player Issue

So after a hard reset yesterday, I go to play some music. What do I find? Nothing. So I Astro, and all the files are there, but nothing is showing up on the player. I mess around with MP3Tagger, and some of the music shows up.

Is there a quick fix to have all my music show back up? Has anyone had this issue? And I had some rare stuff that unfortunately is encoded as WMA files, and the tagging app wont recognize it now, although it was there before.

HELP! And thanks! Awesome forum.

Power off the phone

Eject the Micro-SD

Put it in a Windows XP / Vista / Win-7 computer via USB adapter and do a full scan/check
of the Micro-SD card - make sure to choose correct any file-system errors

You can probably also do a defrag at the same time to clean it up

Once all thats done - hopefully no errors show up - put back in the phone and power on.

See if that works

If there are errors that show, safest thing to do is copy all the data off the Micro-SD
onto your computer hard drive, then do a full format (NOT fast format) on the Micro-SD

Then re-copy the data back onto the Micro-SD card.

I'll give it go. Thanks.

Funny thing is, when I run a file through MP3Tagger, it reappears in the music app. Hopefully doing what you suggest works. Thanks again!
