Default No MMS on Optimus Q

In the process of deleting unwanted apps, I accidentally deleted the stock messaging app. I've been using Go SMS and everything works fine except I can't send or receive picture messages, and I assume it's because I deleted the stock messaging. Is there any way I can download that app from somewhere? I have also tried flashing a new ROM, but I can't seem to get that to work. Can someone explain in detail how to flash ROMs for this phone, or give me another idea of how to fix the text messaging problem?

Look on Google for messaging app and if that doesn't work just restore a backup or "borrow"a backup

Just find a rom for the l55c and adb push the mms.apk onto your phone. To flash a rom you need to have custom recovery (ClockWorkMod/cwm) and you need to put the .zip of the rom on your sd card. Reboot into recovery and wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache. Go to backup and make a backup just in case. Then go to mounts and storage and format /SYSTEM ... following that wipe your data/factory reset and then go to install .zip from sd card and install the .zip / rom of your choice. Hope this helps.
