Hey folks,

New poster here, I hope I'm putting this thread in the right place, so my apologies if not. I have an LG Optimus that I've been using an mp3 as a ringtone for my email/txt etc for awhile now, and one day, it just stopped using the custom mp3 and went back to the system default ringtone. It won't change no matter what I do. I've set the ringtone from within the email/messaging app, the system settings sound section, etc. It'll say it changes, then it just continues to play the default one. Even tried installing ringdroid and it still won't set a new ringtone. Strikes me as some sort of caching or setting issue, but I'm not sure if mobile devices work that way with settings.

Any help greatly appreciated.
