Please help setting up new phone

I have a new T-Mobile LG Optimus L9. I bought it so I can monitor a website for substitute teacher postings. When there is a new posting, the website makes my computer "bong". However, when I have that website up on my phone there is no "bong" to let me know there is a new posting. Is there something I need to do in settings? I've checked the manual but it doesn't get that specific. Thanks!

I just added it and tried the site again but still no sound. Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried various browsers (Opera, UC Browser, Firefox) but none seems to make a difference. Hmmmmmm....
