LG optimus f7 on US Cellular

I just got an LG optimus f7 and it seems a little laggy. When I open the task manager it says I only have about 900mb of ram total and usually ~650 used and ~150 free. Is this normal? I had a galaxy s3 when on Sprint and it showed more. I just wonder if it has defective memory since its suppose to have 2gb of memory.

Mine is similar (on Boost Mobile). There is a way to see what you have. You can download a Terminal program from the play store and see details about the hardware without rooting. I forgot the command though, offhand, but others will know.

Edit: I just want to add that after over a month of use there is hardly ever any lag on mine. I still love the phone. There is echo on calls recently. I'll try turning the volume down and see if it clears up. Other than that, no problems.
