My LG Optimus 7 LGM5323 Keyboard stopped working

I have been having problems off and on for 2-3 days with the keyboard coming up slowly. Today I cannot get it to come up at all. Whenever I unlock my telephone and try to do anything I get the message: "Unfortunately, LG Keyboard has stopped"

I have powered off, cleared cache, etc. I can't type so..................

This phone was only purchased maybe 4 months ago.

Please help.

Thank you so much everyone. I went through forums and finally found the answer i thank all of you. Just clearing the data and force stopping the app worked.

I appreciate all that everyone does at android central. Without you this truly clueless grandmother would not be able to communicate with anyone.
