Mic weak on calls?!

Have had the Spectrum for about 10 days. I'm pleased w/ most everything about the phone, save for this issue of mic weakness. Anyone else have same issue? If my move my mouth away from the mic at all, other person loses me completely. I planned to buy a mic'd set of earbuds anyways, but this issues is quite annoying.

I'd return the phone. No sense in keeping a phone thats defective.

It is past the 14 day period, any advice? The mic is horrid!

I managed to return mine after 14-day period, which is fine with them if there are problems w/ yer device. warranty covers. they shipped me a used replacement. mic was no different, bah. thoroughly compared the two. so i sent back the used replacement. 'tis BS, but I've trained myself to hold the phone properly for this weak mic. Fear its the model. We may have same problem coz mic is poor AND we speak softly/hold phone badly. it loses voice when i hold the phone straight up, perpendicular to the ground.

The location of the mic is probably 90% of the problem. I haven't had any issues with mine. The issues I had were fixed with a new replacement phone within the first week
