Is the fingerprint scanner on the back a problem?

Does anyone else think having the scanner on the back is a bad idea? I work in an office and have my Note 5 on my desk all day. Now I can just unlock the phone while on the desk with the front button. With the LG V10, I will have to pick it up every time I want to unlock the phone. (I know, 1st world problems but aren't they all)?

I just bought the V10 a few days ago. Love the phone. All I did was set up a quick knock code. If your sitting at your desk and the phone won't leave your sight (otherwise it would be in your hand/pocket and can use the scanner) just set a simple one. You don't even have to turn the screen on to enter the code. Just tap on the screen where the code goes which is the bottom half of the screen. Very simple

Use a pattern or knock code lock + fingerprint and then you don't HAVE to use the reader to unlock in those situations.

You can still unlock with PIN if you don't feel like picking the phone up.
