Why isn't my LG V10 letting me install non-google play .apk files?

LG V10 not letting me install non-google play .apk files

I just want a previous version of Spotify because the new one sucks. I allowed access for the unknown sources deal, then another box popped up about something with Google Play not letting me to install it. I didn't know it was important, and now I can't install any .apk files. I searched everywhere in the settings for Google Play, nothing. No idea what to do.

Google does a secondary check on non-GP applications. Possible that you got a bad apk, depending on where you got it from. (While annoying, I guess, this is a good thing.)

Is there any way to disable it? I looked in GP settings, nothing at all.

Go to Settings -> Fingerprint and Scanning and then put a check are in. "Unknown Resources"

This should allow you to install the app outside of the Play Store.

UPDATE: Sorry I somehow missed that you said you didn't this already.
