Silly question

I'm debating getting the V10 (for the camera mainly) or a Nexus 6p, and one thing that concerns me is that the 6p is unlocked and works for everything, but I seem to recall that Verizon sells it's phones unlocked and you can use them with other carriers, is this true? Also if anyone has any input as to my choice that would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Verizon seeks all their 4g phones unlocked. However that didn't mean they will work on other carriers. I had Verizon note 4 that I attempted to take to t mobile. Calls and text worked, but the data was inconsistent and WiFi calling certainly didn't work. However, the Verizon iPhone 6 works great on t mobile.

I went with the V10 over the 6p and I'm happy so far. Music quality and camera were my main reasons why.
