Tips for battery Saving?

Despite being inside on my home wifi all day, two of the most draining functions of my phone were "Phone" and "Cell Standby". Any tips on how to have these functions possibly use less battery? I honestly don't use my phone often enough to justify those two taking up so much juice.

Greenify. Hibernate all apps you don't regularly use.

I'm not sure you can decrease the power needed for phone and cell standby. That's basically the juice needed for the phone's radios to pull cell signal.

You can make it so wifi turns off when the screen goes off. It's in wifi settings.

How would that affect cell standby and phone?

AFIAK those are core functions necessary to receive cellular phone calls. Not so sure one would want to defeat those intentionally. Airplane mode comes to mind immediately as the easiest way to turn off all radio activity.

It wont. wifi and cellular radios are separate circuits and draw battery power independently of each other.
