The T Mobile up date page still says it's in “manufacturer development“. Let's see how this plays out....

There have been a couple other models recently that went right from manufacturer development to a roll out. I think those pages are forgotten by them

Yeah, they are quick to reference that page on Twitter when you ask about software updates but it doesn't seem up to date at all. I think it was several days or maybe even a week after the G4 rollout was announced and started rolling out before the page changed.

If Verizon rolled out a couple weeks ago, you know T-Mobile had to at least be in internal testing so the page should have updated to that.

During startup the T-Mobile t-jingle either doesn't work, or sounds like it's cut in half when it plays. Will the Marshmallow upgrade fix that or should I just do a hard reset? Any advice much appreciated...

Is that your only issue with your phone or are there other problems?

If that's the only issue, I wouldn't bother with a reset just to attempt to fix that. Especially with MM coming in a few days.

Yes it is. And I'm dragging azz to perform a hard reset. Do you think the MM update would fix that?

It's possible it could. I'd wait and see if it does before doing a reset.

I think I'm going to. It doesn't happen every time but when it does my attention to detail catches it and it annoys me. I like my phones to run glitch free. Hopefully the Tmobile mm update overrides the lollipop startup boot.

The update is live, i haven't received it yet. Folks over at Reddit have it, says its running very smooth.
