Nova double tap not allowing FPS unlock

Hi Guys

I am on 6.0 & I use nova launcher. When i lock the phone using the double tap gesture on nova it will not let me unlock using the fingerprint scanner, it only gives me the option to input the knock code. I wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing this or knows how to fix it.

Yes, it's been discussed here recently. Seems to be just how it works.

What about from a power off to a power on? I think it's 'the same thing--FPS won't work until you manually unlock it the first time.

Hey Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of having to enter the knock code once after "power off/power on". My issue is, everytime i lock the screen using the double tap gesture on nova the only way to unlock is the knock code. However if i shut the screen off using the power button, the fps unlock works normally.

yeah, a recent thread here--not sure which one--talks about this with regard to Nova.
