MM--what's the current consensus/status on the SD card error notification on startup?

More than one person has commented on this error popping up; I see some people have just chosen to live with it. How prevalent is it?

Looking for experiences.

The only thing I get regarding the SD card is a notification on boot up the SD card is available for media and something else that I can't remember right now. It's not an error, just informative notification that's it's mounted and available. I swipe it away and it doesn't come back until I reboot, which is very rare for me.

It's not really an issue... just comes up when you boot your phone like stated above... I noticed mine was more prevalent due to the Nova launcher and it's knock setting not working right yet (more a bug that Nova has to fix)... I turned that off and don't get it anymore, unless I reboot the phone...

thanks.

I wonder why they decided to do something new with regard to that alert. I know MM has changed the rules with what you can do with an SD card. Maybe it's related to that somehow.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow Lets You Use Your MicroSD Card As Internal Storage : TECH : Tech Times

This should be what this notification is. Click on it and choose what you want. In my opinion, due to our 64GB capacity, I would choose the portable storage option.

My V10 has no option to turn it into internal storage. I read an article that LG decided not to give that option on MM on the G5. I suppose it is the same thing on the V10.

Or let me ask this question: Anybody found that option anywhere? I haven't.

Ok, that is interesting. I don't have an SD card so I don't know.

What does it ask or say?

I only see this when I've swapped out battery. And yes I'm just living with it although today it took extra long for "android to start up" it is odd
