I've already put a call in to LG Customer Service, but I figured that I would mention this here. My screen died tonight. It simply does not come on.

Anyone experience this? Honestly wishing I could grab a Note 7 now and I hate that phone...

This may not be you, but here's my experience.

Several times over the last year I've had the screen dim completely for no apparent reason. Oh, maybe not completely; maybe in a very dark room I can see it enough to bring the notification bar down and see that the brightness is indeed all the way down. I can then increase the brightness.

I've also discovered that telling the phone, "OK, Google, raise the screen brightness to maximum" works great.

When it first happened, all I knew to do was pull the battery and restart--and that brought everything back up to normal.
