Is rooting a Verizon LG V10 running Android 6.0 possible?

I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find any good guides on how to root the V10 above Android Lollypop. I have found (and debated) downgrading the device even though this could brick it. I also have another issue: I can't find the device DLL for LGUP it says it needs the VS99024A version, and that the one I am using is older. Is this the LGUP_common.dll or something else?

Yes it can be done. Do a search on XDA and you'll find it. Last time I posted a link in a message here I got in trouble so won't do it again. The root method is out there.
