Google assistant works on T-Mobile variant with Bootloader Unlock and Root

Just an FYI that people over on XDA have successfully unlocked the bootloader, rooted, and have Google assistant functioning on the T-Mobile variant.

It all requires ADB but currently no TOT to go back and nandroids aren't working in TWRP yet. Development is moving along though.

A dev is working on a 1 click unlock/TWRP/root.

I'm waiting on that and a working TOT but looking forward to Google assistant.

Might be a beta version of the 1 click being posted very soon. It looks to be beta only in the sense that it won't quite do everything he has planned.

I'm up and running. Bootloader unlocked, TWRP installed, Google assistant working just fine.

Small sacrifices...lose some LG stuff like Smartworld, LG weather widget, Capture+ but it's worth it.

Also changed emojis and installed Adaway.

And since they just broke the code for second screen for AOSP ROMs it's really going to get fun!
