Does using Bluetooth make use of quad-DAC?

I'm wondering if the quad-DAC solution is only enabled when you're using the 3.5mm jack or does it work with Bluetooth headphones as well?

The phone's DAC is in play when it converts the digital signal into the analog signal that is sent down the line to the headphones. With Bluetooth, your BT device is receiving a digital signal transmitted from the phone, so the phone's DAC is left out. There will be, of course, a DAC of some sort inside your BT headphones to convert the signal, but its independant from the phone's.

I would suggest these headphones which are absolutely great and are less than $100. With these you can listen wirelessly or plug them into the phone so you never have to make a hard choice and listening plugged to the phone you're not using the battery.
