Yeah man, I got the same problem. Especially when using auto mode. Grainy as hell sometimes. I know there was an update to improve the camera but I haven't received it yet.Why are picture so grainy when I zoom in? How is this good? I almost feel like the V10 was better. Should I play with the RAW files?
Can you guys upload something and show us?Yeah man, I got the same problem. Especially when using auto mode. Grainy as hell sometimes. I know there was an update to improve the camera but I haven't received it yet.
I read that this was the case of the final release because the prerelease versions were said not to have this effect. Can you guys upload something and show us?
Sometimes it might be LGs optimization (sometimes very wack).. It's been like that on all the recent LG phones I've had.
What software version are you running? Can you guys upload something and show us?

Are you using auto mode with HDR auto or HDR on?I had that version until the last few days and no grainy issues.. Hmm.
I do a little of everything.. Mostly when I use auto, HDR is always on.Are you using auto mode with HDR auto or HDR on?

Yup.. Very true. It really depends on the shot and the scene.. But as a rule of thumb, I leave it on.It is often easier and more practical to leave it on, however HDR is not always necessary and has some drawbacks.
