No focusing in manual mode with wide angle lens?

In manual mode while using the normal lens, I see 2 focusing options: manual & auto-focus.

I then switch to the wide angle lens, and the Focus tab is greyed out. Why? So it is not possible to focus in manual mode while using the wide angle lens?

Yeah with the wide angle since everything is pretty much in the frame there's no option to manually focus. You just sort of capture everything.

Your focus is at infinity at that point so everything is in focus
