I haven't. I have always debated doing this on mobile but most sites (that I go to at least) don't go super nuts on mobile.. Or I use their apps which don't go nuts. On Desktop now that is another story.

I always figured if I wanted to do it one day I would just snag a VPN that blocks ads as well and use that.

I've used and it works fine. Most of the time I just install adaway or something and solves the trick on the majority of sites.
