Can't enable flash in auto camera

I think since the latest security patch. Tapping the lightning bolt does nothing. I have to go into manual mode to use it.

Reset camera options and then try

In auto mode go to settings and make sure HDR is set to "auto" and not "on." That will enable you to use the flash.
