Boot without battery ?

I bought a "broken" (suppose to be the screen) LG V20, i don't exactly know what the phone have for issue.

I don't have a battery right now. Can someone tell me if you have the same screen when you try to boot it without a battery with the USB plug in ?

That does look like the V20, but I doubt you can boot without the battery in it (I haven't tried on that one myself). Any Android device I've used required a battery to be installed. Even the Android powered SiriusXM tuner I have with a battery so shot that it dies instantly when unplugged won't boot without the battery in it.

I don't know if the upper screen should be like that. So long to wait for a battery..

Are you sure it's not a V20 clone? The second screen looks dead. You can buy a cheap aftermarket battery from eBay / China for a few dollars and see if it boots. Or as a friend that has a V20. You can't not boot without battery.

I found one on eBay not to far, i don't want to wait 6 week for the battery..

I already have a new screen assembly, but want to see that the phone before changing it.

I just receive the battery, and everything seems to work fine. I don't know what the screen problem is.. Good thing a guess.. Haha
