Is there a way to disable the slide to call feature. Espically in the messaging app.

Thanks... I never noticed that feature.... Why would you want to disable it?

Because I accidently dial people at times and its annoying to get calls back asking if I called.

I use the Verizon Message app and I don't see any settings to disable. You can try a different messaging app. For example the LG stock app on Verizon models doesn't call on slide, however it deletes the message on slide.

I use the message app that came on the phone from Verizon, if you slide the text to the right it automatically dials the testers number.

Correct,
In order for the behavior to be different, you would need to try another messaging app. I like the Verizon one because I can link it to my IPad and make phone calls and send texts on wifi

I like the app also so all I need to do is watch my fat fingers.
