    Default Successfully Built LS840_ICS_4.0.4_r1 Images

I just completed successfully building the ICS images for the LG Viper.

I now have the following on my system:

    - ./kernel/out/arch/arm/boot/zImage
    - ./out/target/product/generic/system.img,ramdisk.img,userdata.img

Now, how do I flash these images onto my LG Viper?

    Thank you.

Okay if its .img files won't you have to make it a zip file? .img files won't flash through a recovery or am I wrong?

Yes, we'll need to make a flashable zip file

Actually, will you share that zImage? I wanna check it out, since it's just a kernel, and I think there is a way to flash kernels without custom recovery.

If LG is that close to sending it to Sprint, are you guys just working on it to try and beat Sprint to the punch for bragging rites, or are you thinking that Sprint will take forever to push the update?

Awesome stuff either way. What I'm afraid of is that once the update does come through, I will like it less than gingerbread, since the menu bar will consume more screen, and we already have soft keys.

That's the point of open-source, if you don't like something, fix it. In this case, it's as simple as removing the navbar.

This is if you put the recovery in the / folder i think on the phone ,... I tried it a few times then got into CWM
