yeah, i was being ed for a moment lol, but got it figured out and now recovery is working. creating the rom soon and will see if i can flash.

Yes, as of now the recovery is working, was able to backup my current setup. Will try flashing things soon when i get the rom built.

I don't have this device LOL. I just built the recovery , don't know how to install since Samsung uses a different method (recovery packed in the kernel)

Pretty sure someone else can help you tho' !

With a root file browser put the recovery.img in
/data/local/temp then in terminal emulator type

busybox dd if=/data/local/tmp/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13

Your phone has a different file system so I would guess the system.ext4.dup contains most of the files since it's a dump? PS, http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...viper-lte.html

just got off the phone with customer service and they said (take with grain of salt) that we can go into a coorperate sprint store and get the upgrade to 4.0 ics right there in the store i'll be doing this tomorrow since all sprint stores in my area are already closed for the day i'll update my post if i'm successful

Oh my, you are extremely close! Just need the file name, which is going to be hard to find since it's usually like B238094RE430929_ZVD_to_ZVL.zip or some crap like that.
