i agree there messing with people heads. there is a chance they could be testing the server too ensure smooth ota push

I am rooted and just now a update failed just popped up on my phone.... the same message that popped up when I was rooted while the other update came out

Hmm you might want too unroot just in case it is the real deal update . i did see they updated the specs too 4.0. i would do a logcat and see what they are trying too push and them you find the truth about your update popup

before you unroot look for the update on you phone somewhere and pull a copy so we can all have it :-)

The guy at Sprint told me that if you wipe data for GoogleServicesFramework, it will check for OTA.. easier than a factory reset, and it doesn't appear to break anything

I really hope someone on this forum will post the download link from logcat if they get ICS and then all anybody has too do is download it and change it too update.zip and put it on the root of sd card and manually push update.zip.
